Nexford University has entered into an Articulation Agreement with UPI Study, effective April 24, 2026, creating a structured transfer credit pathway for students seeking undergraduate degrees at Nexford. This partnership allows for the evaluation of UPI Study courses that carry ACE and NCCRS credit recommendations, facilitating their transfer into Nexford’s undergraduate programs. Students have the opportunity to choose from nearly 70 courses in areas such as business, computer science, AI, math, science, and social sciences, all of which can be completed online and at their own pace, either before or during their enrollment at Nexford.
This agreement aims to benefit working adults, career changers, and busy learners by providing a more efficient and cost-effective route to obtaining a degree. By allowing students to transfer credits they have already earned, Nexford reduces the time and expense typically required to complete a degree. “At Nexford, we believe the path to a degree should fit the life you already have, not the other way around,” stated Dr. Ann Larson, Chief Academic Officer at Nexford University. “This partnership with UPI Study gives learners a credible, recognized way to build toward their degree before they ever enroll. That’s the kind of access we were built to create.”
UPI Study provides self-paced, ACE and NCCRS-recommended college-level courses starting at $89 per month, which is considerably less than the $300 to $600 per credit hour cost often associated with traditional community colleges. Students can complete individual courses, receive an official transcript, and submit their credits directly to Nexford for evaluation. The full course equivalency guide, as detailed in Appendix 1 of the signed agreement, is accessible online at UPI Study’s website.
Nexford University, located in Washington, DC, is a forward-thinking institution that emphasizes career-ready skills over conventional academic traditions. Its programs are fully flexible, enabling students to balance their studies with careers and personal responsibilities. UPI Study, on the other hand, offers ACE and NCCRS-recommended courses that are accepted by over 2,100 universities, allowing students to learn at their own pace without physical campus requirements.
