These included the Labour Party’s 2024 election win, initiatives aimed at reducing child poverty, improvements in NHS waiting times, enhancing economic stability, and rebuilding public trust in critical areas such as defense and immigration.
Starmer addressed any speculation about rivalry with Burnham by dismissing such notions and affirming his willingness to offer support to the next Labour leader if needed. The Prime Minister also confirmed his intention to remain a Member of Parliament until the next general election. However, he has yet to decide on his role after stepping down from office.
