India and the European Union have committed to expediting efforts to finalize a long-awaited Free Trade Agreement (FTA) by the end of the year. This development represents a significant advancement in establishing one of the largest proposed trade partnerships globally. The envisioned agreement aims to create an extensive free trade zone that would connect nearly two billion people and represent about a quarter of the world’s economic output.
